thanks for the comments. appreciate it. basically, classified means you are a secretary (kind of), so unclassified is salaried (work more hours). it's a little bit more pay so far, but the job could change a little once we get a marketing staff in place. right now, we are just scrambling to get ready for the Northwestern game. The basic idea is to work my ass off for the next 10-12 days straight. maybe that clarifies a little.
so, um, whose idea was it to have homecoming on a SUNDAY AT 8PM? i was finally going to be able to march alumni band this year, but now i'm not so sure.
maria, you should still consider it. we need people to march. another option is to play on the Friday, November 24th game. i know the schedule kinda stinks, but the MUMB isn't going to be able to march, so they are going to ask alumni to play.
i would actually rather work off my gut than my ass b/c my gut is much bigger.
and you don't have to wear the beret. rachel, you should consider the november game as well. maybe we should move the helbing thanksgiving gathering to oxford. go band!

i'm contemplating marching and then burning a vacation day. we shall see. and i can just wear some sort of red shirt?
