New Post

Here it is folks, a new post. For anyone that is still out there visiting me. I had a day off, yesterday. I took off most of today, but now I'm here in the office, getting some things ready to take home. The weekend was good with Rachel visiting, oddly enough, the last day I had off she was also here. Am I allowed to start sentences with, "oddly enough?"

I'm still trying to survive in the new job in the midst of football, volleyball, ice hockey, and soon to be men's and women's basketball before we know it. Think of me as I visit a new doctor on Tuesday...great anxiety comes with that. OK, that's all for now. Will try to post again in less than a month! Later :-)

I would love to say Thanksgiving is the next time I'll have a day off. Too bad we have a basketball game, football game, and volleyball tournament that week/weekend. Unless I take a Sunday off here and there.

I think I am the only one who is not allowed to start a sentence with "oddly enough", as in "oddly enough, i had some people over for papier mache," or "oddly enough, i'm playing shuffleboard tonight," or "oddly enough, the one-eyed bountyhunter carsalesman asked me if he could take me out sometime". things like that. of course, if you start living the life of a lunatic like i do, we will have to reconsider your use of "oddly enough". So, join me, Joy, in this roller coaster i call life. Oh, and i do hope the dr visit went well. i do not enjoy going to the doctor. especially the blood pressure cuff. i hate that thing.

i meant to finish that with, "i always thing it's going to explode my arm somehow". i'm not even trying to be funny with that. i really do think something bad is going to happen when they put it on me.
