Social Networking

What does everyone think about the social networking sites? Rachel has been bugging me to join Myspace for awhile (and blogger before that!) and now Facebook. I feel like I already spend enough time on the internet as it is. On the other hand, it does sound like fun. From what I've heard, Facebook sounds more appealing.

Any thoughts?

Your page rocks! When it popped up, I thought I clicked on the wrong site. I know this has nothing to do with social networking, but it was the most recent posting. hee. :) I have never been to myspace or facebook however I do know that these are the two sites that my students use the most. They are forever talking about their pages, others' entries, etc. It may be a bit conjested, but hey what do I know. :) Take care Joy

i think they both sort of creep me out. then again, people are creeped out that i met people on message boards, so what do i know...

i've never been on facebook, but myspace makes me want to scream simply from the poor design setup and cluttered layout. ugh.

i didn't care for myspace for blogging. it's kind of cool because people from years back can find you, and also not so cool for that same reason. i haven't tried facebook.

there are a lot of kids on both and kids act differently than i want them to. yes, i am officially old.

I agree that's its cool for getting back in touch with people, particularly as I have not been in my hometown in like 5 years. Myspace, that is. But I don't get how people can keep up with more than one of those sites-its all just too much for me. I'll just stick to MySpace. But I still like my blog the best

I like the blog better too. I ended up joining Facebook, so we'll see how that goes. Thanks for everyone's insight ;-)
